Once upon a time during the pandemic on the Internet…
Calligraphy and lettering were love at first sight… then came personalized event engraving.
In 2020, Sanda Letter was born while I was searching for a DIY decoration idea for an empty wall at home. While exploring online inspirations, I discovered that it was possible to write quotes on various media with an incredible range of tools. This versatility of beautiful writing immediately fascinated me.
A Beautiful Encounter
Since then, my wall is still empty, but I’ve been training in various techniques through courses and lots of practice. I’m a jack-of-all-trades, which is reflected in my journey through the world of letters. Indeed, whether it’s engraving on glass and metal, lettering on chalkboards, storefront illustrations, or simply ink on paper, I appreciate the diversity of styles and surfaces offered by lettering and calligraphy.
My studio is based in Bern. Additionally, I’m mobile throughout French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland. Comfortable in three national languages, as well as English and Spanish, we’ll surely find a language to communicate in!
Lettering (or “lettering” in English) contrasts with a typeface/font that is used repetitively, and calligraphy, which focuses on the art of beautiful writing. In other words, it involves drawing letters and texts by hand in a unique style.

In January 2024, I won the first prize in the “Creative Windows Weeks 2022” contest organized by the brand Edding. Every November, Edding launches a Christmas window illustration contest, a service I enjoy providing to my clients. 2024.
