Multi-surface Calligrapher
In 2020, Sanda Letter was born while I was looking for a DIY decoration idea for an empty wall in my home. While exploring online inspiration, I discovered that it was possible to write quotes on a wide variety of surfaces using an incredible range of tools.
Since then, my wall is still empty—but I have been training in different techniques through courses and extensive practice. I am a true all-rounder, which is also reflected in my journey through the world of lettering.
Whether it is engraving on glass and metal, lettering on slate, window illustrations, or simply ink on paper, I love the diversity of styles and surfaces that lettering and calligraphy offer.

As a modern calligraphy artist, I breathe new life into calligraphy—an art form sometimes perceived as traditional or outdated. Through live personalisation and multi-surface creations, I reinterpret this heritage with a fresh, contemporary approach.
My goal is to show that calligraphy can be elegant, on-trend and vibrant, transforming every object into a unique and memorable experience. Through my personalised calligraphy services in Switzerland, I offer brands and events an authentic artistic touch that creates emotion and captures attention.

Once upon a time on the Internet …
In 2020, Sanda Letter was born while I was searching for a DIY decoration idea for an empty wall at home. Exploring online inspiration led me to discover the possibilities of writing on various surfaces using a wide range of tools.
Since then, my wall remains empty, but I continue to train in multiple techniques through courses and hands-on practice. This versatility is reflected in my artistic path.
From glass and metal engraving to slate lettering, window illustrations and ink on paper, I embrace the diversity that lettering and calligraphy have to offer.
My studio is based in the city of Bern. I am also mobile throughout both French- and German-speaking Switzerland.
Comfortable in the three national languages as well as English and Spanish, we will always find a language to communicate in.
Lettering (as opposed to typography, which uses repeatable fonts, and calligraphy, which focuses on beautiful handwriting) is the art of drawing letters and words by hand, creating unique, custom-made compositions.

In January 2023, I won first prize in the “Creative Window Weeks 2022” competition organised by Edding.
